Here's some quick background on calories, fat, and sodium that might help you get an A++ on this quiz.

• A 25-year-old guy who is 6'0" and weighs about 165 pounds and exercises a few times per week would need about 2,400 calories per day to maintain his weight.

• A 25-year-old woman who’s 5'5" and weighs about 140 pounds and works out a few times per week would need about 1,900 calories per day to maintain her weight.

• The American Heart Association recommends getting between 25-35% of your total daily calories from fat. So if you eat about 2,000 calories per day, that’s about 56-78g of fat per day.

• And when it comes to salt, the American Heart Association recommends getting no more than 1,500mg per day, which is just under about ¾ teaspoon.
