Opened in 2014, Dear Jervois quickly made a name for itself and now you can expect to see lines out the door on Saturdays and Sundays but it’s definitely worth the wait.
Menu pick: The bacon and caramelised banana gluten-free waffles are the best in town.
The Store - Britomart
The Store is located right next to public transport, so you won’t find it difficult to venture over for their exciting takes on classic brunch meals.
Menu pick: Organic lentil, agria and chorizo hash, fried egg, spring onion vinaigrette.
Imperial Lane - Britomart
The entrances may be hard to find for this cafe, but it is well worth the search. Imperial Lane is one of a kind and there is a vast brunch menu available.
Menu pick: The Imperial Breakfast is a lot to get through, but well worth trying.
Scratch Bakers - CBD
A one stop shop for quick and delicious meals, Scratch Bakers is situated in the City Works Depot. Just try not to drool over the food that is displayed in the cabinets right in front of you.
Menu pick: Any of their pies are incredible!
