It was a calm and nice evening and the weather was pleasant in Bangalore. As we were munching on our Pakoras and sipping on a cup of tea, we saw the sky take on a new mood. It was all of a sudden. The lights started to fade and the sky grew darker. What looked like beautiful clear sea with its bluish color, calm and quite about a few minutes back changed itself to a rough, angry and darker version of itself.. just as the sea does..
That’s when I thought. How similar are they – nature and their forces. The Sea, The Sky and We.
Just as the Sea and the Sky changes without notice and can taken over a darker version of themselves, we too are a happy and a loving lot at one moment and suddenly change into a devil the very next moment without warning. What makes us do that?
There are a lot of other things that make us do that….that are responsible for making us do that.
Anger Management
While we have a choice of deciding what we want to be – a devil or, a saint.. we also have a choice of deciding how to deal with a person who has chosen to be one and we will agree that it is difficult to deal with the one who has just chosen to be a devil.
We deal with a lot of our friends and family members whose mood swings without notice. How do you deal with an angry person? And, how do you deal with a situation that might just anger you? What is your style for anger management?
Whenever I am in a situation when I can choose to show my frustration, I just recollect the 90-10 principle,
10% of life is made up of what happens to you, ……90% of life is decided by how you react……

At this point, if we are at the receiving end, what is required is, to look at it from a different perspective. When you do that, you anger is sure to go away and you will experience much more happiness that ever before.
I chose to look at the sky from a different perspective and saw that there was an even more beautiful sky beneath the dark clouds..
